Similar light pole exists beside the rear fireplace patio/deck where the Miller's house used to be. (About 20 feet from the back porch headed down towards the river. Not too far when it's cold outside and you're trying to get the kids/grandkids from the cabin to the outdoor fireplace for fun.) |

Great view from front of cabin looking downhill at the patio/deck with second fireplace (one inside and one outside). Adirondack chairs and small table (solid cedar) convey. Spacious backporch with porch swing (not visible). |

Wintertime photo. Shows view from backporch, looking down the hill towards the Meherrin River. After walking to the left of the deck/fireplace and down the path, you hit a dirt/flintstone or bedrock access road (where the wagons used to bring corn/wheat for the grist mill). Take a left in front of the old admin shack (still in good shape) and head down the access road towards the front of the late 1800's/early 1900's Grist Mill (barely visible on left). River visible in background and audible from the back porch! |
